“Dreamland” is a collection of 6” x 6” gouache on board paintings created as a series of portraits. The figures in these paintings are ghost-like entities that drift in a state of contemplation of our world. The paintings can be viewed as individual portraits, but collectively the paintings build a narrative.
Creating a dream-like story, the paintings construct an archive of characters and moments. The themes within the series include identity, community, fear, and loss. These concepts are central life and assert a vision of femaleness that transcends storylines and history.

Care instructions
Like any artwork, don’t hang it in a space that gets full sun for many hours. If it gets dusty, you can gently brush way dust with a feather or microfiber duster. Keep away from kitchens or other areas with humidity.
